While there is no replacement for using SPF sunscreen when you're out in the sun, some of the foods we eat may help provide extra protection from the sun's damaging rays. For example, the juice of ruby red or pink grapefruit can help protect your skin from the sun because it contains an antioxidant called lycopene.
