World Hepatitis Screening Day is July 28
World Hepatitis Screening Day is July 28

Worldwide, an estimated 290 million people are living with viral hepatitis, unaware that they are infected.

Hepatitis doesn't have many symptoms, so testing is very important, and, it’s easy! Just a blood test, that's offered as part of our preventative care screenings. Testing is recommended for anyone who:

  • Was born between 1945 and 1965
  • Has ever injected drugs, including any who injected once or many years ago
  • Has certain medical conditions, like HIV
  • Was a recipient of transfusions or organ transplants prior to July 1992

If you fall into any of the categories above, make a commitment to get a screening in July.
