What happens if you don’t take action during Open Enrollment?

Open Enrollment is passive this year, which means that most current benefits, including medical, dental and vision, will automatically roll over for ENTER YEAR if you take no action, EXCEPT:

  • Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) do not roll over from year-to-year. If you want to participate in a Health Care, Dependent Care or Limited-use FSA in ENTER YEAR, you must sign up on the benefits website during Open Enrollment.
  • Voluntary benefits will roll over but new options may also be available. If you want to sign up or cancel a voluntary benefit, you must do it during Open Enrollment.

Pretend you have an FSA. Will your FSA election roll-over to ENTER YEAR if you take no action during Open Enrollment?
