Nutrition Challenge: Add Vitamin D to your diet
In the winter months when we are outside less and days are shorter, you may not be getting enough Vitamin D from sunshine. Try adding it another way - through your food!
Add some of these Vitamin D rich foods to your diet this winter:
- Fatty fish, like tuna, mackerel, and salmon
- Foods fortified with vitamin D, like some dairy products, orange juice, soy milk, and cereals
- Beef liver
- Egg yolks
The Challenge: Add foods rich in Vitamin D to your diet. Are you in?
