June is National Safety Month. During this month, the National Safety Council is highlighting relevant issues with the aim of reducing the leading causes of injury and death at work, home, and on the road.
This week, we're focusing on mental health. Here are some ideas for self-care that can help reduce stress and anxiety:
- Exercise regularly
- Create a virtual social support community using Zoom or FaceTime, and call or email family and friends
- Engage in hobbies you enjoy (gardening, reading, cooking, catching up on shows, etc.)
- Prioritize good sleep and healthy eating
- Meditate or practice yoga
