A new pandemic relief bill has been passed (it was a whopping 2,124 pages!) and that could mean big, exciting changes for your FSA.
FSAs may now rollover into 2022. So you might be able to spend your 2020 FSA money in 2021 or 2022, even if you were laid off.
This includes your kids’ medical bills (even if they “aged out” of the program) or daycare. You may also get support for adult dependents who live with you.
You can also change your plan mid-year without a life event, like an adoption or change in marital status.
Your employer will decide how to implement the changes, so speak to your HR department about what this means for you.
